Summer Art Camp for Kids
Art Camp
Enroll your young artist in any of our 5-day summer camps. Monday - Friday; 9-11:30 a.m. It is only $129 per child and open to all school aged children. All supplies & snacks included!
The children learn something new about art each day. Each day is exciting and different! Join the kids for their art show the last 15 minutes of camp on Friday. Bring family and friends!
***Our Camp Leaders***
Alexis is an Art Education major at the University of Wyoming. She has 5 years of experience teaching multiple winter and summer art camps at Flydragon
Maren is a local artist with a Fine Arts degree and teacher certification. She has many years of experience teaching art to children.
Katrina is in Exploratory Studies at the University of Wyoming. She has 4 years of experience teaching multiple winter and summer art camps at Flydragon.
Camp Schedule, M-F, 9-11:30 a.m.
Monday – Clay Day
The kids will hand build a clay piecd. We will fire it and the kids will paint it by the end of the week.
Tuesday – Sculpture Day
The kids will create a sculptural piece using a variety of materials.
Wednesday – Mixed Media Day
A mixed media piece will be created today.
Thursday – Painting Day
The kids will paint on 16X20" canvases at the easels today. This is a favorite!
Friday – Fridays will be spent doing a small project, completing other projects and setting up the art show.
Friday 11:15-11:30 a.m. - Art Show - Bring family and friends!
Make sure the kids wear clothes they can get paint on!
The kids learn about technical elements but they are encouraged to be free spirits. There is no judgment about an artist's work. This isn't work - it's play!
